Our Philosophy
Tiny Tots Daycare & Preschool believes that our young children are educated through fun and play based on educational activities. We understand and provide a positive and safe environment. We encourage our children to continue learning where self-respect and determination are supported, nurtured, and enhanced. Tiny Tots believes in the inclusion of all children. We also believe in diversity of cultures, all backgrounds, and this will be implemented throughout centers and weekly plans.
Our center provides the following services
Art
At Tiny Tots Painting, coloring, sculpting, drawing, and other forms of creative art are an important part of the childcare curriculum. Creating art supports young children's development across several different domains. Using art tools helps children develop small-muscle coordination and control.
Â
Mathematics
These hands-on learning activities create a solid foundation for Tiny Tots to understand shapes, sizes, lengths, addition, and subtraction. Children who have the opportunity to learn math-related concepts in early childhood often do better in school and are more skilled at using math as an adult.
Language
Tiny Tots Childcare providers play an important role in supporting early language development. Language is the tool that helps children make many connections: understanding meaning, sharing feelings and needs, connecting with others, processing new information, solving problems and understanding society's expectations.
Music
Music is a part of the Tiny Tots child care curriculum. Music activities and experiences help children practice important skills, including thinking, language, motor coordination and understanding emotions.
Movement
Movement is vital for Tiny Tots young children's development. A lack of movement may prevent healthy development. Movement wires up the neural pathways in the brain. ... Children learn to work within a group dynamic, and develop the skill of turn-taking.
Physical Activity
Outdoor play also enables Tiny Tots children to enjoy the natural environment and learn to seek out exercise, fresh air, and activity. There is something fundamentally healthy about using the outdoors. Thus outdoor play develops disposition for the outdoors, for physical activity, and for care of the environment.
